I was walking through the rainforest when I came across delicate, fan-like fungi layered along a fallen log in beautiful soft tones of blush and sand — nature’s own lace.
From the moment I spotted them, I knew I wanted to create a piece. The delicate crinoline and sinamay felt like the perfect materials to bring that softness and structure to life.
Mycelia Lace draws from that moment. Each element is individually created — delicate on its own, yet together forming structure and strength.
