Inspired by Western Australia’s own Eucalyptus Macrocarpa or Gumnut, Mallee Rose honours our stunning Australian flower blooms. A photograph of the Gumnut in bloom was the winning inspiration by competition earlier this year, when I called for creativity to help design the collection that I subsequently showcased on the runway of NYFW entitled “Australia in Bloom”. I dedicate Mallee Rose to those who provide me with endless support for my worn art passion, with thanks for continuing to be a part of the story.
